Aspiring candidates must hold an LLB with at least an Upper Second Class pass obtained from a recognized university in a Roman-Dutch Law jurisdiction. Candidates must have studied at least two of the following modules in their undergraduate programme or be willing to pursue further studies in at least one of the areas mentioned below: Intellectual Property, Law of Banking, Law and Economic Development, Insurance Law, International Trade Law, Media and Communications Law, Jurisprudence, Heritage Resources Law, Tax Law and Commercial Law. Successful candidates will be required to undertake further studies at Masters level within a year of assumption of duty.
