The Information Security Analyst will be at the forefront of defending the University against cyber threats through designing and implementing robust security systems that protect computer networks and applications from attacks.

Applicants must be a holder of aBachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field with at least two (2) years in information security. A cybersecurity certification will be an added advantage.In addition, the applicant must have familiarity with firewalls, proxies, and antivirus tools.

Threat Monitoring:

• Keeping a watchful eye on our networks for security issues

Incident Investigation:

• Digging deep into breaches and cybersecurity incidents.

Software Deployment:

• Installing and upgrading security software.

Vulnerability Testing:

• Identifying and addressing network and system vulnerabilities.

Documentation:

• Documenting security breaches and assessing their impact.
