Once you’ve booked a room, you can change at any time. You can only do this by cancelling your pending request first then select a new room. Note Cancellation will only be successful before the check-in dates.

Once you have booked a room, the system automatically performs the confirmation process for you.
When you cancel your request it means that you are releasing the room you had booked and you don't wish to own it anymore.
When you have successfully booked a room, Proceed to pay your Accommodation fees using the Ecocash Link on your Portal or University Banking Details below in order to complete your booking. Status will change from PENDING to CONFIRMED instantly upon payment.

Accommodation booking can only be approved if you have paid your fees in full. If you have paid in full but getting an INSUFFICIENT FEES response, please send your proof of payment to gzuaccounts@gzu.ac.zw for processing.
Status will change from PENDING to CONFIRMED instantly upon payment of full accommodation fees.
Of course! We have got shared rooms and this allows you to enjoy the communal feeling of a shared room, which sleeps two in seperate beds. Perfect if you have a university buddy you want to share with.

There are also single rooms, and with these rooms there is no need to share as your sleep and study space is your own. Get to know your neighbours in any shared additional living spaces.

You will see different status messages and their meanings are explained below.

AWAITING AUTHORISATION - Booking was successful but waiting for approval from Administrators.

PENDING - Booking was successful but payment hasn't yet been recieved.

CONFIRMED - Booking was successful and payment has been recieved.

INSUFFICIENT FEES - Booking was not successful because your fees did not meet the minimum required.

CANCELLED - Booking was cancelled by either the student or the administrators.

CONFLICT - REQUEST TIME-OUT (Usually a Network Issue).
